Due to certain facilities requiring added silence deadening on shifter engine kits, we realized air box installation maybe required from time to time. The following are the only permissible options to be used in competition with the FZ Shifter engine platforms where air box usage is mandatory.
FZ 125CC
Air Box Type/Make – NOX 2 produced by Righetti Ridolfi with 23mm or 30mm inlet tubes is the only permissible air box. Orientation of the top cover (where the inlet tubes are mounted) is free, however the inlet tubes and filter elements must be fully installed per the manufacturer Fiche. Any missing filters or tubes which are not fully installed per the manufacturer Fiche will result in a disqualification.

FZ 65cc and FZ 85cc
Carburetor Adapter – In order to mount a standard airbox inlet boot to the FZ65 or FZ85 carburetor ONLY the following adapter is approved: FZC.1001 which is available through FZ Shifter and the FZ Shifter dealer network. The adapter fits to the carburetor with a hose clamp which allows for an easy fit to the approved air box. PN FZC.1402 is only permissible to be utilized with the approved air box, it is strictly forbidden to be utilized in conjunction with the standard air filter.

Air Box Type/Make –
RLV AIR3020 with 29mm inlet tubes. It is ONLY allowable to utilize the two tubes which are mounted in the top/45-degree angle position. It is not allowed to use any other positions nor is it allowed to knock out the added pre-formed mold inserts in the air box.
Competitors are allowed to use a non-filter boot or the option use a either the RLV ‘AIR1012’ or IAME #10751-A filters ONLY.
